Red Bull Air Race for LTB's customers

Lufthansa Technik Budapest hosted some of its main customers – from German Lufthansa Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Germanwings, Wizz Air – and also guests from Lufthansa Technik AG on 20 August 2009. No doubt that the guests were witnesses of Hungary’s two main spectacular events, both of which took place among the clouds: The Red Bull Air Race World Championship and the fireworks on the occasion of the foundation of the Hungarian state.

Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world’s best race pilots in a motor sports competition that combines speed, precision and skill. After completing the tracks in Canada, the USA and the United Arabic Emirates, the 15 pilots of the 5th Red Bull Air Race World Championship were flying rapidly in the Hungarian sky, above the Danube and even under the Chain Bridge, completing impressive, dangerous manoeuvres. The guests of LTB could view the whole race from the best location: from a ship on the Danube.
The Hungarian part of Red Bull Air Race is traditionally organized on August 20, when Hungary celebrates the anniversary of its foundation in 1000 A.D by King Saint Stephen. This outstanding date of the Hungarian history has been celebrated for years with a very spectacular, nearly 20-minute-long fireworks.

Although the day passed quickly, the most spectacular programmes of the year brought LTB and its guests closer. LTB intends to continue its customer events in the future in order to further strengthen its business relationships also on an informal platform.
