OJT support for the new MRO facilities

27th february 2008

Lufthansa Technik Budapest has welcomed the first bulgarian trainee group (18 trainees) from Lufthansa Technik Sofia, looking forward to a 6 months on the job training (OJT) in our facility.
The number of trainees will increase up to 43 by the middle of the year, and will decrease to 18 towards the end of the year. The OJT process will end next year in spring.

The involvement of Budapest in the OJT process, reflects the international recognition of the knowledge and experience of the hungarian specialists. We are proud to share this knowledge with the trainees, who will start the first heavy maintenance of their career at home in October 2008.

The trainees have been welcomed also by Dr. Andreas Heizner, Senior Vice President of Aircraft Base Maintenance and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lufthansa Technik Budapest, with the opportunity of the Supervisory Board Meeting in Budapest.
